Hello guys
Will the large TJT turbine be flying this year at Superman?
While I am at it, will the JetCAT P-160, Simjet 700 and PST be flying there?
Thanks
Jimmy

Hi Jimmy
We will have a 700 on display and running on a test stand only. Since Superman is an AMA sanctioned event, we can not fly the turbine there until it has received AMA approval.
We will have the 1200 and 2300 flying.

Hi jimmy,
As earlier mentioned in another RCU thread, TJT/PST and JMP have recently split and TJT/PST is in the midst of working out the details with our new US distributor and service agent.
Due to the timing of the change, we are not planning to attend Superman in any official manner this year. On a side note, some may assume the regular 'going out of business' scenario but it is strictly a timing issue, nothing more.
In light of the split with JMP, I have personally driven the TJT-3000's application process with the help of our new US agents and it is near completion. Unfortunately, I've been informed by Joe Amato that although the test engine is delivered and the necessary paperwork is available, the turbine committee meeting and safety review of the product will not occur in time for this year's Superman event. The PST-J600 will soon follow.
Most of our US customers have now been informed that the 3000 will still not be able to fly this year. It appears my work will come up a just a few days short, but I tried my best.
My apologies to those affected by the timing of the approval but the AMA has a process that needs to be followed, regardless of events...
Looking forward to Florida Jets.

Hi Gerhard,
Thanks for the positive comments,
I would recommend you speak with our TJT-UK agent, Rob Rowbotham. His RCUniverse name is 'RobRow' and his email address is [email protected]. Further contact information is available at: http://www.tjt.bz/contact.html
Rob can arrange for the engine delivery and properly familiarize you with our product. He also has engine service capability (including balancing) and is very knowledgeable in the fields of micro and large-scale turbine operations / maintenance.
I'll ask him to contact you later today...
Thanks and good luck.
