My Gripen is finally ready to go , one nagging doubt however is --- Do I need a Gyro for the Nose gear ?
Some guys flying this model claim a gyro is necessary for the nose gear as it is very sensitive.
Any input from Gripen pilots ??

I would not bother with a Gyro; they are not really needed for nose steering if you set a rate switch up to switch from a high rate and low rate steering. Low rate with some expo set in will help from over steering at accelerated speeds on the ground.
