Default F-111/Tornado

Are there any F-111 or Tornado kits on the market. The only information that I have found was the old ITP kit that is no longer around.

Thanks

D

Hi there

Masterfly no longer exist, and all the molds have been sold on. I believe Jet-Mart USA have them, but no plans to produce at the moment.

All you can do is build from some plans, and there is a company in Italy which advertises in RCJI magazine, (well in the UK edition they do) and their ad shows a Tornado, and I believe an F-111 too.

Best of luck.

The ITP/Masterfly Tornado was a totally, totally cool model. I sold mine to a guy here on RCU, who has been trying to sell it, if you do a search here, as far as I know, he still has it.
Jetmart has the molds, yes, but (as I heard it) the tooling for the swing wing mechanism was lost in transit, so it's a back-burner thing for them.

The RCJI plans ad is for Bertella out of italy, I have not seen the Tornado, but some of the others, they are very simple all-wood DF models, you could make it into something cool for turbine, but you need to be "up" for that kind of extensive re-engneering.
On the 111 front, I beleive Christian Diffusion is working on a big one.
