With all the Crap going on about my local field let's change the tone. Who is going to The Dixie Jet Rally/Utah Jet Rally?

IMO this is site has the best VISTAs in the states, azsure blue sky and the red rocks, outstanding site, I understand the runway problem has been rectified, so it's gotta be outstanding. The only problem are the afternoon zephers, time to hold down the shade tents. Pilots fly safe, and post a few pictures for us on the east coast

I went last year...and as Joe said...the backlighted morning flying is some of the best to be had. The people there couldn't be nicer either. The over (and under) runs were big problems last year but if they got that fixed...go!

Plus...it's two hours from Vegas baby!

Ah YES, the Vistas are very nice I been there at least two or maybe three times before. Time to go again. Someone make sure they report On Fridays action. I should be there for Saturday and Sunday.

I'd love to attend this year again, but I'll have to miss it this time since it is the same weekend as the ACS 24 hour "Relay For Life" that I'm doing.

Wanted to go this year but the kids are sick. Next year for sure! You guys have fun! Take pictures.

I have only flown at the rally once a few years ago, but I have never missed attending in the last 4 years as a spectator. I will be there this year as well.

Dixie is great we will be there Saturday early and looking forward to some good flying. Too bad you can't make it UnclJoe. It's always good too see you.

The jet rally was done right and thanks to Kent and Dan for doing a great job. If you missed it I really can't understand why. The weather was great and the hospitality could not have been outdone. Here are some pictures.

Nice touch, giving the crowd a center field clear view with a notch out of the pits for a front row view (maybe it's on the end but they still get a nice view).

First photo posted--is that Dale Hess's old Maverick on the left? How old is that thing now, and is Dale still flying it?

Just got back from St George. Here is a sampling of a fantastic weekend of jet flying. Thanks Dan, Kent, and the Remote Possibilities Club for a great event. We really enjoyed it.
