If this post is on here more than once... I'm still learning this site! Today is my 1st attempt. Thanks to Larry and Vern Kramer and Dee miller and Francis Pischner and all the others I may have missed for getting the word out for our JOS8!
Good morning my JET friends that came to the Great Okefenokee Swamp and and flew in some awesome weather on a beautiful site at "Jets Over the Swamp 8"! It's hard to believe it has been 8 years since our first event in Homerville!
If ya didn't come, then you missed an incredibly good time of fellowship and flying. Even Bob V. was just excited about the newly repaved surface, widening and extension to about 6000 ft! Of course the nearest tree line being like over a half mile away or farther doesn't hurt either! Even the BBQ ribs Sat nite were made even better with the fellowship.
And to the sponsors! Thanks Bob Violett for the great give aways you sent! Frank Tianno! Thank you for all the ZAPP and stuff via good ol' John Burdin! And of course JR stuff via Joe Rafalowski! Thank you all cause the pilots got it and they love these things!
Can't believe it's come and gone again.
