Highlight's
Merlin Graves and his scratch built Avro Vulcan were fantastic even if it was ducted fan.
Sam Snyder and his scratch built Swallow flown by Tom Dodgen was supurb in flight and looks.
Demo of the FiberClassics Eurofighter showed what a truly fantastic flight envelope it has. So impressed with it, one now resides in my shop.
Shalesh Pattel and his hugh and remarkably beautiful F-86 put in a breathtaking flight today. Truly an outstanding achievement.
Jack Diaz and his twin Jetcat P-160 powered BVM Rafale was heart stopping in performance.
Jason Somes flying the BVM Sabre flat put on a show with his superb flying skills.
Several F-104 Starfighters there, and it still amazes me the way these things fly as well as they do. Groove like no tomorrow, and slow suprisingly well.
Lot's of Bvm Bobcats, Bandits, and several F-100 with Joe Grice's really standing out.
This list could go on & on. So much activity, it is hard to catch it all.
Additional info,
RCU member WD-40 had a good flight going on his Ziroli Panther but seemed to cut it short for some reason. Upon landing, I noticed one of the main wheels missing and he was trying to baby it in, bounced it a couple of times and skidded off the runway striking one of the strip landing light pods. Appeared to have ripped one of the wings off, but plenty rebuildable.
CJM lost there F-15, possibly due to third channel modulation. Lot's of flight activity going on at the time. Total wipeout on this one.
Also they appeared to have had some interference problems on the Talon flight as Dino D. lost it, got it back for an instance, then lost it again promptly smacking the runway hard.
Keith Yates did manage to get several nice flights in on his CJM Talon.
Roman put in several great flights on his SpiderJets F-16. Very good looking and well built aircraft.
