It was an honor to meet you! I don't get to meet many famous people living here in this place.

Superman 2002
For a minute I was starting to wonder about all of this....I just wanted to say "THANK YOU " to those who actually understand the real issues and do not support any personal attacks. These actions will not help solve any problems but rather create more. This is a hobby to most of us, including myself. Lets fly.....
First off I am not personally attacking Dean or anyone else. Fact is that 9 times out of ten a guy crashes (any guy) and he claims radio problems. It doesn't matter that Dean has 6 Top Gun trophies, what matters is that two airplanes went in do to UNKNOWN problems. A lot of people are putting a whole lot more stock in the ICOM scanners than they are actually capable of. They are good tools for what they are intended for but are not the be all to end all to determine if there is interference on a channel. Very small signals that would not even affect our RC equipment.
A104Freak,
I never said that Dean went to Winamac! If you had been at Winamac like I was you would have seen the same scenario. I watched one guy get to slow, then snap and stall his plane then immediately turn around and claim radio interference. This all started on Friday as the crowds started to get there. Never mind the fact that for two days prior to that several of us logged a ton of flights on the same channels with no problems. BTW if you want to personally attack me by all means click on the email button at the bottom of my post so that I get a chance to read it.
Dean,
A question for you....... and be honest..... did you do a through range check on both airplanes?? Was the Talon throughly range tested at Superman? Had it flown prior to the event? Did the radio gear in the F-15 get range tested before flying it?

Superman
Just wanted to say that I had an outstanding time at my first Superman! I took about 160 pictures, of which I have posted a bunch on my webpage, if anyone here is interested in checking it out. Because I'm in college, I was only able to attend Saturday and Sunday. To the Mississippi Gang - I had an absolute blast hangin' with y'all! We've got to get together more often! Later y'all...
