Wish I could Ronnie, too much stuff going on right now. Wedding in 2 weeks. It wasn't windy at all down here.
You guys have fun.
BTW, I have a friend who is looking for a 18-10 lbs jet RTF, or an 18-20 lb turbine stand alone.
Feel free to PM me if you know who may sell one
Ronnie how could you change your beautiful Avatar?.

Just got in from the jet rally. Had a really good time. Thanks to Greg and the crew for doing a great job. The weather today (Sun) could not have been any better. I didn't take any pictures but Pat Fernandez took a bunch and I'm sure he will post them as time permits. 29 pilots entered in the event.

Certainly the smallest jet meet I've been to, but what it lacked in numbers it made up for in charachter. The fajitas on Saturday night were some of the best I've had.
Played Texas Holdem till nearly 2am Sat. Night, that was more fun than flying and a lot less work (at least that's what Sam says
)
The facitlity was more than adequate and the impound was first class. On Sunday morning the local crew even went out and squegeed water off the runway. That's SERVICE!
Greg put on a great event and everyone burned a bunch of fuel. I went through about 13 gallons in one day and one flight on sunday.

Thanks to everyone that attended the DFW JET RODEO. What a great time! We tried to feed everyone plenty of food and keep things simple.
I know we have a few bugs with RV hookups and parking. I think we have a handle on all the inputs and will make every attempt to get those problems resolved for next year. Growing pains are wonderful!
I am tracking down the pictures from our photographer and should have them posted soon.
Thanks again,
Greg

1 David Reid beating up Mike Jensens son, Lucas (Micheal Jackson Wanna be!). 2. Lots of spectators. 3. Chillen in the shade. 4. Mike Jensen "O.K. boys, ya stick this in here to wind up the rubber band!"

Pat, have you dried out yet???
Pat bravely jumped into a deep pond to retreive my new F16 after the inner tailpipe blew out on takeoff. We thought both of the pipes were gone and shut the engine down and splashed into the pond. You Avonds' F16 owners out there, check the welds between the two pipes. Mine were not strong enough. Good news, however, all eletronics are still working after being sumerged for a few minutes and the plane only has minor fiberglass damage on the bottom.
Thanks again Pat.
