Well it seems as if the weather Gods are going to allow us to have some this weekend. As far as food goes, I'm going to bring my own grill and cook hamburgers, hotdogs, chilli dogs, chips, and drinks like last time. If you are a registered pilot you can have a hamburger, chips and soda on me. I wish I could do more but I don't have the deeeeeep pockets that Frank Tiano has. One thing of interest is that the Thunder Birds are flying this weekend at Alliance Airport. We all need to keep our jets lower than the 400 foot ceiling that the rules apply to. I'm sure those F-16's will be comming right over our airspace. No one has contacted me from the USAF, but we might even have to not fly during the show. I'm not anticipating any problems, but they will have control the airspace. Camping will be allowed overnight on the flightline.....but no drinking of alcohol. What goes on inside the trailers is another story......but nothing outside. I contacted channel 5 news and let them know we will be out there. Maybe we can get some publicity.........maybe Secret Agent can demostrate how to impale a fence post correctly.........so lets get the word out and have a big turnout. Invite your neighbors and have them sit on out flightline and watch the airshow from the speedway.........regards for now....see ya soon.....Perry Herring

Perry: You sound like a good man trying to do the right thing. As for drinking of alcohol,... I can personally tell you the TX gang does not do that at all
Hope your event goes well and is all you want it to be.

Smitty,
You can register at the event. There will be a place to take your name, AMA#, and if your flying turbine a wavier check. Then it's
time to pony up the $390.00 landing fee or assorted gifts to me and or Perry.
( just kidding ) Fee is $20.00

Can't make it Friday but will there Saturday morning. Don't know about the rest of the Austin Gang. Everyone was at Superman for seven days and I think just everyone used all their kitchen passes for that. Besides that, our club is hosting a big heli event this weekend.

Why, do you want him to crash another airplane for you??
I don't think so Mike.
See ya Sat.
Soloed my Bob Cat at Superman. Flies like a dream.
Bob Cat XL - Jet Cat P80, what a combo.

Bob, I am soooo good, I don't even need a post to rip the nose off of my A-4. Just a few days ago, I managed to rip the nose off of my nice A-4 on a full size runway with no poles, or anything else for that matter, in sight!! I didn't pay close enough attention to that mean old grass on the edge, and kerplowee, off came the nose. So I am down to zero flying jets at this time. I do have a thread in the Wanted section looking for a good nose job for an A-4. I also have an Avonds F-16 on order and should have it before Christmas. So watch out next year baby!! I will come and visit with you guys and take video for later blackmail, I mean evidence, I mean enjoyment.
See ya soon. Mike
