Default Skymaster f18 noseleg

I have just started my Skymaster F18 and have noted that the noseleg is a very loose fit on the adaptor wire. The difference in size is 0.3-0.4mm which makes for a very loose fit an I am concerned that alot of force will be borne by the locating grub screws given that the fit is not snug. Has anyone else noted this with their kits and if so, any suggestions or fixes or comments would be appreciated.

Thanks guys!

Craig.

I noticed the same on mine but it was never a problem in more than 40 flights, including a couple of hard landings. I can't remember if I drilled/tapped any extras but I had four set screws on my nose strut.

Thanks Barry. Perhaps Ali from the UK could chime in here with his experiences also. I know a lot of guys in the US have flown the skymaster F18....can anyone else give their input too?

Thanks again.

Craig.
