Jet Hanger hobbies make several Jets that use a 46 size motor. I had a F86 that flew great! ( wish it was still around.....)

Hi Firefighter
Jet Hanagr Hobbies makes a line of jets in the size you want. We're a Jet Hangar dealer and currently have an ARf Hawk undergoing the final fitting of a SimJet 1200. With the introduction of the SimJet 700, many of the Jet Hangar kits will be suitable for turbine conversion on a budget!
If you have any questions, please let me know.

I'll second the JHH kits. Their sabre is a well known great flyer. DCU also makes a Mig15 right around the same size.
If you can afford it, buy yourself a brand new OS46VX and the fan and pipe to go with it. If not, find the older OS46VRDF, that's a good one, too. The K&B's are okay, but don't get stuck with one of the really old ones floating around. You should contact Larry Wolfe of JHH, he is the undisputed guru of 45 fans and will really help you out.

This link is a pic of a Rebel. It's a 40 size DF that goes like a BVM plane. THere was a short kit available from the designer - but that web site is down. Search RCU on "rebel" and you will get more info
