I was looking on the skymasters website, and looking to the progress of the F-86 (plug).
And was looking on the background, there is standing a book whit information about a rafale. (llok in the red circle).
B.T.W. that F-86 is getting a very nice shape. It is just the size between the two F-86 that BVM has. And this one will be ARF (i hope)
I think that there are people who need to ask the boss to get more money in a month. Because they get not enough to follow the speed of how skymaster is producing jets.
greetings Paul

Paul, you've got an eagle eye!!
not Skymaster but Aviation Design will release their Rafale soon as an arf, hopefully I'll get more info in a few days, they will attend La ferté allais(a large meeting for large planes!) which takes place this coming sat and sun. Stay tuned for some nice news....

there is a company in China which already has a very nice (looking at least) rafale ARF in the 18 - 27 lbs turbine class size. Planes Plus has been talking about importing it in for a while, but i don't know if ow when that is going to happen .. I love the rafale ! its one of the sweetest looking jets ever made ! plenty of balls, yet with a measure of class and grace

@rider-60
it is always fun, to look at the background. You never now what they forget to put away, when they take the picture.
And it is nice to see something about the factory.
Just look at some pictures on the skymasters website. Sometimes you see a model, and on the background you see the inside of the factory. Where meaby your next planes stands. You will never now.
Butt is the ARF AD Rafale maded by skymaster then???
And which version of the AD will be ARF, the small one, or the bigg one??? I hope the small one, then my turbine will fit nicely, the big one is way to big for my turbine

Hi,
Please check out the rcarf.com web site. It is a different company from Skymaster, but Anton is also involved with the design of their ARF Jets. It looks like a Rafale for a 54 size turbine. Also a 727and F16 in the making.
They also produce the great flying A10X trainer for small turbine. I think Tod form Dreamworks will be bringing them into the States.

I don't think that the rafale on www.rcarf.com is for 54 size turbines.
Look at the sizes, length 2040mm (80 1/3") and wingsspan 1460mm (57 1/2"). and a weight of 9-10 Kg (20-23Lb)
I could be possible whit the wren supersport. But whit less, than you need all the power that you have. I am thinking it is more designed for an AMT mercury, Jetcat P80 etc. etc. That class of turbine's.
But also this plug looks, like it is going the wright way.

Awesome!! I heard thru the "rumor mill" that SM was working on a F4e,I see now that there is
'proof in the pudding".That was my all time favorite jet fighter growing up along side the A6 Intruder!
Anton, you guys at SM giving any thought to a A6 in the future? An A6 in arf form would generate alot of interest in the jet hobby I'm sure. There is just something about the A6-its a ugly duckling but yet it still has such appeal
Todd,it was good seeing you again bud at Mid Altantic here !! I will be calling you this coming week to get some items.I particularily need some Hysol big time.My year long break from the hobby is over ,I spent this last year or so molding my business into what it is now and I'm very happy with the results .Hard work has payed off ,so now it's time to get back into what is important too-jets!! Time to warm my fingers up again and jump back in the saddle with both feet firmly planted

Well, now that Todd has let the cat out of the bag ....
I heard that SM has played around with the washout of the wings on the F4, and that it should be a better flying F4 than any other currently out there ... I believe it is also of substantial size .. maybe Todd can chime in more on that ..

Didn't have time to go to the meeting, and anyway weather was terrible this sunday, with storms. The Arf Rafale was not on display yet however Eric Rantet displayed his F-16 , now arf !!! ( for you Johnny!!! ;o)) ). He had also a new arf sportjet. I hope I can get some pics soon.

A new ARF sportjet, you say????
Maybe an ARF starjet from AD???
Look in the next picture, on the right.
Looks like a part of the starjet, maybe an ARF one.
Maybe they forgot to put it away for the picture, again

Doug,
What "choices" were YOU thinking of?
I like the Demon but after two scratchbuilt projects in two years......well, 1 1/2 projects, I don't want to touch another one very soon.
