I can't seem to be able to load up this video on this forum. Sorry if this is not normal but this is a link to a video compilation I made of the show.

RE: Jets Over The Heartland Pictures
Got home after at 3 am today after a 20 hour drive.
Joey, a.k.a. "hotsticks", and I want to thank Tim and all who helped put on a great event. Also thanks to all the ladies who helped in the preparation of the meals that were served at the field. Special thanks to Francis for making those delicious crab cakes. Also to Tracy whose kitchen won't be the same after last weekend. That's where the crab cakes were made.
Will post some more pictures later as I've got to clean the car and trailer today to get ready for another jet rally next week.

An American who has never eaten crabcakes? I don't believe it! I am from Scotland and have eaten crabcakes in South Carolina, Chesepeake Bay and even Scotland!
I have never had the pleasure of trying crawdads or mudbugs whatever the hell they are!

RE: Jets Over The Heartland Pictures
On a hot and muggy Wednesday morning I arrived in the crowded Indianapolis airport. Sitting in a wheelchair with three bags attracts quite a few bleeding heart liberals wanting to help. Snatching the last bag off of the turnstile I wait for Francis Pilchner and Tim Reddleman to pick me up. As I sat there, I wondered if Tim wasn’t joking that my jet case really did bounce down a flight of stairs at his house. Those thoughts were quickly subdued when Francis towered the crowd and marched up snatched up my bags with his Paul Bunyan hands and said “come on man, Tim’s waiting outside!†I then quickly scanned the pick up area for a van or a truck, just then a copper colored 2002 Trans Am briskly pulls up besides me, and a man with a red JR hat leans over peering through the T-tops and says “What’s up there chuckle nuts?!â€
So there we are three guys over 6’4â€, three bags and a wheelchair and a Trans Am, could this start off any better? I manage to shoe horn myself in the back, while Francis and The Brainchild of the whole operation figure out how to get the brakes off of my chair and pull the wheels off. Somehow we managed to get it all to fit with the Axle of my chair getting acquainted with my pancreas in the backseat and Francis eating his kneecaps. Tim jumps in, reclines the seat back in barcalounger fashion throws it in first gear and halls Ass to Winamac.
Once there I see Tony helping his buddy with his Phantom.....

One can not say "phantom" and not have the word David Reid follow suit.
Dave put on many flights with his phantom as well as helping a buddy with a new Bobcat.
Dave also helped me with the installation of a whip antenna on my Hun. This is a guy you want to have at all the events.

John, you MUST make the trip to the Mississippi Afterburner! It is only a 10 hour trip for you. Redelman drives further than that. Fly into Jackson Mississippi and we pick you up at the airport in the limo and take you direct to the MAB in only 15 minutes. After the Saturday night crawdad feast, you won't want to go back to Scotland.

Joe Tamez really put on quite a show with his bright red Super Bandit. Horizon to Horizon knife edge passes were Joes specialty. Shown here is his son, cooling the engine down after another successful flight.

It was great to see my good friend Jack Diaz make the trip to Winamac this year. Powered by a Jetcat Titon, this is one truly impressive machine. Jack flew many flights with his F-100 and his Bandit.

Francis Pischner and the Kramers (Larry and Vern) always put on a good show, and this year was no exception. Top notch craftsmanship, and flawless paint adorn these models. These guys are some of the best, in attitude, style and grace, and I am proud to call them my friends. With these guys around you are guaranteed a great time and great memories.
