Default Vector Thrust ?????

Is it possible to use a vector thrusting exhaust vent system on a R/C turbine, or ducted fan?

I created an animation to demostrate the idea.

Default TAM is da MAN

He is making one to try out this weekend for the new Rookie. Check with him unless you want to re-invent the wheel.

Default NOPE

Todd, Joe McB. uses a single Paddle that he can turn on off that only runs up or down, and TAM is trying to make 4 way vectoring (left, Right, Up , Down)

Default vectoring questions??

I am really looking forward to getting my Rookie and playing with this vectoring system. I have never felt the need to fly any of my models using gyro's before but I reckon I will be experimenting with a gyro on the Rookie's thrust vectoring.
The interesting thing to try with Tams idea is that with a gyro fitted OR quick thumbs (elevator/rudder mixed to vector).....vertical hovering maybe possible? Now that would be fun! good way to melt the winters ice off the strip as well! (Canadians take note)

- I will be painting mine white adding a Tam smoke system and calling it the
'Shuttle' : )

Default Vector Thrust ?????

Just got home from the shop. The Rookie Vector thrust pipe is ready to try out tomorrow. I'll get shop photos tomorrow at Woodland/Davis.
Time to get some ZZZ before 5:30am.
Brg,
Tam
