Default BVM Carb question

I just ordered and received a new carb barrell and brass idle and mid-range adjustment screw from BVM. It also came with a small plastic bead. Does the bead go inside the brass adjustment screw where it sleeves together and act as some sort of check ball?

Default BVM Carb question

The small plastic ball goes under the set srew that locks the Idle adjustment/spraybar. The set screw pushes on the ball, this way the set screw will not mare the spraybar.

Steve
Thanks for the prompt response. I have been racking my brain trying to figure out what that darn ball was for. Your answer makes alot more sense than my checkball idea. Anyway thanks again.
