Default My roo maiden!

Finally after a long wait my roo was maiden today. Only few clicks down trim to level. The P-80 push her with authority. Vertical was awesome and rolls very well. This is a very easy to fly jet. Landing wasn't that easy but after a few passes it touch the runway. Before final stop one main collaps and only a few scratches to the wing tips were done, no major damage at all. We found a tiny leack in one air line. his was fixed before flight, but appears againg, so we going to replace the line and inspect everything again. I'm very happy today.

RGS,
Alejandro

Did you oversize the speed brake?? I did on mine and it's VERY easy to land....I cut the throttle, put the speed brake out, so it pitch up a little bit when it begin to go down i apply a little bit of throttle and it came nose up gently, I re-cut the throttle in the last few meters for a gnetle landing. On the video you will see that i keep full up elevator after the landing trying to do a wheele!

My first landing with it on a 12'X325' paved runway. It was it's 3th fly, the first two was made by an experienced friend of mine.

Cars II, Not have the final weight now. I estimate around 17# not sure. She is carring 105oz of fuel in a kevlar tank plus the UAT.
