This weekend, the 19th and 20th, get in all the flying you can before the snow flies. We are holding the 1st annual Fall Fling!
complete with hot coffee and chili. To be held at the Winamac Aeromodlers Airfield. Anyone can come and fly whatever you brought with you. I checked the Winamac weather on line and it looks like it will be cloudy over the weekend with temperatures around 50 degrees both days. Winds at around 10 mph both days as well.
For anyone who would like to check you can type in "Winamac weather" as a search and find plenty of forecasts for Winamac. No rain predicted that I could see. Looks good!!

Planning on being there at least on Saturday. The Topcat is flying grrraate. As Tony the tiger on the fin would say!

Just checked the weather again and it is looking pretty nice. Predicted high for Saturday almost 60 degrees and partly sunny. Partly sunny on Sunday as well in the mid 50's...

It will even get better once I start doing my Indian dance.

as i think you have to pay a fee for the show teams appearance.
What you might do is call Don K. and see if he can talk to the team and see if you can at least secure the local team member in the Chicago area.
