I found an extract on the internet a few months ago from an old area 51 worker who said , " I can't tell you anything, but we have things in the desert that will make George Lucas drool." If this is true , some of the stuff that they have out there is incredible. I believe that his name was Mr Birdsall, and all his supposedly vivacious claims were all backed up apart from this one.

I dint think the pilots flew both either..

The 'doughnuts in the sky' were from a pulse jet engine, has been seen before, the most famous sighting by an oil rig worker in the north sea. The plane is Aurora and supposed to be fast, mach 7+ !!!!!!!. Well done Lockheed.......

The X35 does have a clutch mechanism which drives the front fan which has contra-rotation blades to minimise torque effects.
