Default HELP NEEDED!!!

Hi All, I am not a jet guy, but I have a DF engine (OS 91 VRDF) that I picked up with a fan (TamTec I think). Anyway, my question is this, I am trying to remove the engine from the fan unit, and I can't get the fan off of the shaft it spins with no binding or problem...just can't get the darn thing off! Is there a trick to this? I don't see any nuts or bolts that are hindering the removal...HELP!
Thanks,
Rob / katchmarek

it should just pull off if it spins try spinning it counter clockwise it may spin its self off like a nut if not you may need a mini puller so you can pull on the fan and push on the crank at the same time good luck donniercjet

Thanks Donniercjet, I got it off! Man I must have been in a coma or something the other night when I was trying to get the stupid thing off! About 15 minutes after posting the question, I figured I would just take a peice of stainless rod I had, place it on the prop shaft, brace the fan shroud on the edge of the table and then tap it lightly with a hammer! Presto! Just one very light tap and it loosened right up.
Thanks,
Rob / katchmarek
