I am about to maiden my Grumania SU27 Flanker, scale about 1:10 - but I can't find a pilot for it here in Norway!! Any suggestions?
Power is Simjets 700 - same as the Wren 44, but full autostart! Can't let her fly without a pilot!!
Thanks!
Tor

Keep us informed on how it goes. I have an extra MW44 and was interested in putting it in a Flanker.
I have a Savex L-39 and was wondering how long it would take to get one of these in the air.
Did you enclose the engine?

Thank you!
No, I didn't go for onboard gas - there is rather limited space inside and I also had the weight in mind, so I use external gas.
I didn't enclose the turbine totally, but chose a brand new kind of FOD guard - see the picture!
Any pilots, anyone?

Hello tor,
Nice baby!
what is the take off weight, complete with fuel?
for the pilot, you could check at century jet, http://www.centuryjet.com/webstore/c...fm?Category=52 , they have some 1/10th pilots, not russians but close enough!
good luck for the maiden anddon't forget the cam! ;o)

Thank you!
The take-off weight complete with fuel will be approx 4 kg, maybe a few grammes more. Actually, I wrote the wrong scale as the plane is tiny and in 1:16 scale!
So I guess a trip to the toystore is better when looking for a pilot!!
