I am a compete idiot when it come to this programing crap, can some one tell me how to do this?

Press mode/page and you are in basic (acro)
Press mode/page again and you are in advance (acro)
Press rota. knob once for P.mix1 and you are in P.mix1
press select (cursor) down twice and you are on the second page for the P.mix1 on mix>INH
Turn rota. know to left one click to get the P.mix ON
Tara, you are done.

That should be because it has been assign to a switch that is in the off position at the moment, look at the screen for the assign switch an turn it to the on position by moving the switch.

This switch has been assign off in the down position, the screen will also show down.

You'll also want to get the Anne Marie Cross book. It shows you how to get to the hidden screen which allows you to reverse the throttle trim to work at the low setting after reversing the throttle channel and things like that. Found that little tid bit after fighting the set up of an FTE 500, then ending up mixing a switch into the throttle channel (wish Futaba had told me). While Futaba's documentation has improved, it sure has a long way to go. The Anne Marie book is MUCH better and worth the little money it cost. Much better reading.

It's not a bad radio - I've enjoyed mine so far and it has exhibited outstanding range to-date.
