I would like to start a Mig 29 project and am looking for cross sections for a plug. I have searched the net and cannot find anything. There was a company called In Detail and Scale that sold 11 X 17 drawings of jets, some cross sections. I cannot find any. I have found many pictures and three view line drawings but no cross sections. Can anyone help. Thanks.

Look for a book called Aircraft Profiles Vol 3. It has a 3 view with 8 cross sections. Also has color pics close ups of the flying surfaces and the main wheel well. It is sold thru Traplett publishers in Illinois. www.traplet.com (217)328-4444

Hey Ray,
What size are you going to shoot for? Maybe we can trade moldings when you're done. You know about my 90" F-22...
Got your message last month and called you back. Did you get it?
Congrats on the solo F-15 flights!

Tom,
This project is a collaberation with Jim Simonitch. We've been talking about it. I am going to try to build the plug and Jim is going to do the moulds. I hope it doesn't take me as long as it did to build the F-15. Jim has suggested twin Dynamax, OS .91 for enough room in the fuselage. I'd like to use Turbax I, KB 7.5 to keep the size down a bit. Still haven't decided.
I didn't get your message, but thanks about the solo. I just need to burn fuel. I really want to get a lot of stick time with it. I've just started a JHH F-86 and almost have the wing done. Now that the weather is getting cooler, I don't spend as much time in the garage (shop) as I normally do.
Send me some more pics of F-22. Have you done any more since the last photo's. I do have the Custom R/C Aircraft YF-22 kit. Haven't started it yet. I want to build it as a turbine.

Ray,
Try going here:

Its a german website but the link pertains to what you have been after....crossections of the Mig-29.
If you are able to understand german the guy has a description of his Mig-29 on which those fuselage formers was based on.

ok.. i was just informed that due to the size of the zip file that contains the 8 files that make up the mig 29 plans, anyone that only has hotmail for an email server is not going to be able to get the whole thing all at once... if this pertains to you , let me know when you email me requesting the plans.. i will send them 1 file at a time... this will take 8 emails total to get the plans this way. The first 2 files are the actual plans.. the last 6 are parts details.... but you must email me to do this... no way to attach files in this format. I will answer as soon as possible
