Doug,
Welcome back! I just got back from Buttonwillow an hour ago. Had the entire field to myself all weekend! Went thru 10 gal of kero and got my jetfingers back! Will have the Panther ready for first flight 27th and the F-18 soon after. Gotta get Henry to hurry up and finish my gear doors.
Put first runs on the new Rhino in the Panther. Oh MY GAWD, this thing sounds like A REEEAALL JET ENGINE!
I'm going up Friday afternoon, will have the runway nice and warmed up for ya on Sat morning!

where do you guys stay overnight when you do the 2 day mini-jet rally? Hotel etc. or do you drive back and forth to home / camp?
my field will be shutting down turbine ops after this weekend due to the extremely dry conditions around the base.
I'm sure I'll be jonez'n for some Jet A and will trek up north atleast once until the field re-opens.

Sung,
After talking with you. I'm thinking show up for afternoon and stick around for Sunday morning flying with you.
Anyone want to ride with me. No Dave or Jimmy in my truck. Finnally I get some fresh air and I behide the wheel. Look out.
Here come big truck with the trailer behide but no driver.

Hey Tam - got your phone message last night ... sorry, but I can't travel down with ya this time. My relatives are still in town and don't leave until late Saturday. Bob & I are just gonna go fly at Tracy on Sunday. We'll hopefully make it to Buttonwillow the next time.

DUK DUK, after talking with Tam today....looks like we will be coming down to see Sung test fly his new A-10. Wont be bringing the trailer, just the SuperHornet and the ViperJet. Not sure what day we will come down, but most likely Sunday Morning.

Well folks, another ButtonWillow Bake & Shake has been completed! A fine time was had by all with no disasters. We'd like to thank our sponsor for his support!
