Thanks, I've been flying a standard BobCat with a RAM 500 for the last 3 years but this one has
an FTE 750 and will get off the ground in a hurry

It flies great, I put 14 flights on it last weekend

I love the paint job. I have seen the craftsmanship up close and I am amazed on how beautiful they are. I have not flown one yet, but they look like alot of fun.
Enjoy,
Dave

Between Dawn's 14 flights and Steven trying to keep pace with her, they thought my trailer was a turbine oil tanker. I'm glad I took a bunch of extra oil.

Anyway, it was great to see Dawn put on the flights.

Hi Dawn:

No more Classic Bobcat, I guess, with that 'Fingernails on the Blackboard" sound of the RAM 500, that always seemed to work flawlessly with you doing the startup.....Now your into a real "Catch me if you Can" Bird.....heard Scott Marr is trying to strap a P-180 on his ARF BabyCat......no way he's gonna be left in your dust!!

Very nice looking Bird.....

Adios.....Tom

lol !! i just picked up a p180 yesterday, and was thinking how it would look on a BobCat, .... it would fit with little modification and around a pount of lead in the nose ... I loved mine with a P120 ... Can't wait to get one back in the air again ...

As for Scott, i think he is trying to figure out how to get a 55lbs p200 on the BobCat instead

I did have the Titan on the Comp Bobcat!!!!
Now finding a home for the P180. It will have a home in a few months on a new airplane!!!!!!!!!!
Would like to strap this P180 on the Bobcat ,but it weighs as much as the airplane. It'l have a home soon.

Scott if it was a Titan i had laying around instead of the p120, that would have ended up on my BobCat as well .... i think the vertical out of slow flight with a P120 is only marginal ...... My P180 is going on the Raptor so as to properly overpower that plane by nearly 20lbs [8D]

Actually i feel she's a bit overpowered by 27 pounds. Mine goes outta sight. Im doing another and going to use a P60.
Dawn flews great with the 750.

pegged at 200 for the duration of an entire flight( by a speed limiter) i think its perfect [8D] ... the 120 is only .5 lbs heavier than a p70, so the engine weight is irelevant ....

Guys,

thanks for all of the kind words on the new plane, it does fly great. As many of you know I have been flying a standard BobCat with a RAM 500 for 3 years so this just give me another plane to play with

Tom

as for the other BobCat it is still going and I plan on flying it also, although it did not move from the trailer while we were at the T-38 Jet Rally (I think it got really sad) Anyway the new FTE-750 really pushes the new BobCat around with authority, almost as good as the KingCat!
