anyone flying one with this combo and the stock canopy?

I know 8.2" aft of LE @ wing root but I want to know where you put the batt packs in order to achieve the recommended CG.

dont' want to re-invent the wheel, BTW I'm running Duralites.

Buck, with the P-70 and stock canopy mine balanced perfect with both duarlites up front. With the P-60 and one battery up front and the other by the wing tube should be close for your set up.

for what its worth, a clear canopy, deck and pilot shifts the CG substantially if used down the line ... I needed to reposition my one duralite pack all the way back by the tanks for propper CG, and thats with a p120 on the back ..

What planes are you bringing to the Southwest?

I plan on bringing the Bobkitty and possibly my A-4 (and might have to test fly her there)

I'm looking forward to visiting with my folks prior to the event and then spending 3 days burning dinosaurs.

Bring extra fuel for me will ya'. my gas truck DavidR is probably not gonna make it.
