Well, the flying is over and all thats left is to talk about it. Sat was perfect and Sun we had a bit of wind, but it was right down the runway. Plenty of relaxed flying by everyone. Awards were handed out and pilots raffle was held early Sunday afternoon. Best Pilot; Jake Bruckler smoking up the sky with a Kingcat powered by a Jetcat ending up with a perfect heart shaped smoke ring. Best Plane; David Mosher flying a Airmagic F-15 also Jetcat powered. The Rich Fong Craftsmanship Award; Monty Welch flying a Crow Aviation F9F Panther with all the bells and whistles, folding wings, sliding canopy, tail-hook etc. We would like to thank all of the sponsors that donated prizes for the pilots raffle. Also a big THANKS the the vendors who showed up. Bob and Matt from Jetcat, Mark and Todd from Vertical Hobbies, And Tam and crew from Tamjets. And now for next year. The 20th Annual WDA Jet Fun Fly will be a 3 day event starting Friday, around the first part of Oct. 2006. As you can tell from the pictures, a dandy runway, lots of pit area, a park like setting with lawn, shade trees, places for kids to play away from the flying area, and a snack shack with a grill when you get hungry or thirsty. For information visit our website www.wda.org later next year. So make plans now! Again a big THANKS to everyone who attended this year and I know you will be back next year. Thank you Monty for the great show !

Had a great time this year, even though I didn't get my HotSpot ready and flew Wayne's planes instead. Looking forward to the 20th Annual next year. Here's a few more pics.
