Default BVM Maverick help

I just got a new maverick kit and have started to try to build it. I'm wondering if anyone has any hints or tips on different parts of it. Right now I'm stuck on the main landing gear, the base of the retracts seems to stick out too far or lays on the foam inside the wing. Do you have to cut the foam and let the base sit down farther?

Also, Jim in Coloardo Springs, if you read this you should e-mail me at [email protected].

Yes You do have to cut into the foam to clear the retracts . Randy
