Default How Tight??

Yesterday, my turbine quit on takeoff. Ran it up again in the pits and when I hit full throttle it quit again.
Inspection showed the O-ring on the Festo inlet filter had split.
I installed a new one and tightened it just enough to feel the O-ring compress.
Will watch it for leaks.
My question is, how tight should you tighten these filters?
I have always tightened them very tight, but this could be what caused the O-ring to split.
Is there a spec of some kind?

Default RE: How Tight??

mine split also yesterday, after suspecting it for leaks. i tightened it up , and after a few while i saw it leaking. This is a part of Festo i eliminate . That part is not so good to use.
