A good friend of mine owns a machine shop and over the years I have picked up on a few things.
It took a while but I learned to run his CNC mill and together we made lots of coll stuff.
He told me that for the price of a nice truck, I could get my own CNC mill and along with all
the work I needed done I got one.
This thing is so strong and fast all the parts I needed made are done, I also did some paying jobs.
I had so much fun programing and running parts I am looking for more work.
So. If you want something like a new bulk head for turbine plane, I can build it.
The problem with all this is.... getting what you want into a drawing.
If you have autocad or Solidworks, drawing allready, Its a 1 hour job to make a part.
If you can make the part from wood, and send it to me, its a 2 hour job.
Also... I can do 3D parts IF you have a 3D drawing file. I can do intakes molds from
just a few drawings.
Prices will be Around $100 for simple stuff like flex plates... $100 for the first on.. ~$20 for extras
This is for a few months only, because any longer it will be a job.

Wow!
That milled dog next to the plug parts looks so realistic!!!

What material are you using for the plugs? MDF? Thats what we use in our small hobby mill.
Will keep your offer in mind.

Jussi

how long it tooks you to machine the last parts?
my cnc has a positionning speed of 4.2m/min and cutting of 1.5m/min but to get such result, it would take years anyway...

That plug was roughed out with a 2 inch (50.8mm) cutter running 0.400" (10.16mm) depth of cut at 100 inch/min (2.45 m/min).
Then it was finished with a 1" ball endmill where the highest ridge was around 0.005" (0.127mm) witch sanded right out.
Each board of MDF wsa 9 layer thick and took about 2-4 hours. where the max length of the boards were 38".
There were about 8 boards total.
Lots of pic and a movie here

So.. If you have a 3D drawing and need a plug made, I think I can do it.

How much to make a plug?
nothing too big, say 68-72in. long?

If I have to make the 3D drawing from scans or .dwg or .dfx files the price could double.

Look what i did with mine a couples of days ago.
They are the same size as the robart 630 series, but stronger. Made with 1/8 thickness instead of 3/16 and will have a trunion made with 7000 serie aluminium instead of 6000.
I want to hit the market after Xmas. 125$ to 150$ for a set of 3. It's the first proto, the finish is not good but they will be anodized anyway.
Programmed directly in G codes. I'm using CatiaV5 for more complex design. Done on a Republic Lagun 4 axis mill.

I spend all weekend trying to make 350 of these parts... They are 1/8" by 1/8" with a notch cut in them.. +- 0.002
Man.. I want round and round... .. can make 25 of them at once... but time after time 25 were not
within tolerance... I must have made a few hudrend before I found out that the 1.5" aluminum plate
that my vise was bolted to was somehow moving durring the cutting. ????
I removed the jig plate.... bolted the vise directly to the table and that fixed everything.
Now I can hold +- 0.0005" and I still dont know what I am doing.. hhaah

Just got some new software and I am now able to do 3D mold or plug work.. no problem..
Just as a test I made a mini Megabar..
If anyone needs a plug or small Aluminum mold,
my price for any work is now much lower now..
