Just what I need.I fly at the Madera club (air port) where the hits was happening.I belive it was at the Madera large scale races.I donot know if he was paid for it or just for fun but the guy is realy sick! Anyway, I was just told he walked in and purchased a TX and adviced to keep my little scanner handy to try to protect myself. (notice I only said TRY) But I can tell you he hangs around here in Southern Cali. in the Sepulveda and San Fernando Valley. Just trying to give the same "heads up" for those that fly around here or those that know what he looks like cause I don't.

Question is would he have an AMA card if flying legaly at an AMA Field? or any other field (parks with R.C. fields here do not enforce AMA, but ask or require you to have, yet no one checks)

While well intentioned, you guys had better be sure you get all your facts straight before posting something like that, where you name the guy and say he shot people down. Not saying he did or he didn't, just that it's a serious allegation, and you should do your level best to get everything straight before posting.

Here is some more info,Turbulence you got he's name right.They found him in the parking lot with the transmitter and and the cristals in his car but he got off scott free becouse nobody seen him turn on the radio.He did go to court tho.

I remember that...it was big and it was bad. ....it was an expensive and dangerous prank, that for who knows what reason cost some folks alot of money and time. It was very real.

Says there that the fellow sued the people that accused him. So maybe we ought to just make sure we have all of our ducks in a row before naming names, etc.

It was more then a few years ago from what I remember too, and did happen at Madera airport. That much I can say. So it's been a while now.
