I'm converting an older version BV T33 from fan to turbine and adding flaps.
Questions for you experienced T33 fliers:
How much to drop for take off?
How much to drop for landing?
Is EL mix required with flaps?
Still use crow mix?
I plan to use servo actuated speed boards still. Good idea?
Turbine will likely be a P-60.
Thanks for your replies.

Hi Art-If you eliminated the wing cusp as per BVM's mod, then you no longer use the crow. One of the BVM reps who has lots of experience with this jet (and lots of success) recommends moving the CG about 1/2 " further forward than the plans say. He says it lands much better at this more forward CG. The T-bird is my favorite airframe. Which paint scheme are you using ? Regards-Mike Oberst

I did fill in the wing under camber at the root. The crow was soooo effective when I flew it as a DF I will likely program it in and try it with and without.
No decision on paint scheme yet, but it will be a simple silver with one or two other main colors max. I like to paint, but hate to mask!
Thanks for the input.
