R/C-Jets has been one of the more enduring sources of reliable information covering all areas of R/C Jets. The list, sponsored by Bob Parks, has fallen into relative disuse. Bob says he'll shut it down if traffic doesn't pick up. Drop him a note and/or join up.

I've been a previous member of the list, with all the advantages of a site like this or others where you can search, interact with a specific person etc, all the advantages, why wouldn't the suggestion be bring the guys there over here or to a competing forum?

I certainly don't speak for Bob Parks, but he's a friend, and a great guy, and a genius, and when I asked him about coming over here a few years ago, he said he did not want to get involved, I think the BS quotient is way to high for him, and he would be spending all day tearing down the opinions of some of the "prominent experts" here. It would not be pretty! He's a no-bs kind of guy, he really knows his stuff.
Just about every other guy on the list already IS here, but what makes "The List" great is Bob himself. If it closed up, I would be sorry to see it gone, but it sure feels like the world moved on already.

No digest, I get each post (not the digest) but plenty of action on the list since Bob's "Lack of use" post.[8D]

Hi,
Does anyone know if the list is down? I tried to post and the e-mail got kicked back.
Thanks,
Jon
