Default Speechless from this video

And you thought I had a death wish......

This would be a pure example of Max B**ls and zero Brains (engineering).

What turbine is he using that is so reliable that you can strap them to your leg without a FOD screen or protection of any kind around that loose dive suit and pilot chute? I do give him credit for his fuel bladders though..

Those are Artes Rhino's

Here is the info from the www.jetartes.com website:

Matias Dur'an chose two Artes Rhino's as they provided the highest thrust - 36lb and lightest weight - 3.17 lb as his choice to become the first "flying parachutist"
He maintained level flight at 2000' above ground until exhausting his fuel supply. His weight - 175lb.

I do not know what Mathias had to do with this, maybe he was recommending the engines to use, but the guy is a Finnish guy and they did this in Lahti city, Finland.

In the beginning of the clip, they are talking in Finnish.

Nice to know that we have two more turbines in Finland.

In the Finnish model forum we just discussed, that as he could maintain the height, it will be just the matter of time and a crazy enough jumper to land without the chute!!!

Jussi
