Default Airliners

Dear All

just to let you know that my 1/16 scale A330-300 Airbus has now made his 10th flight
You can see the video recorded during the 10th flight on Montbeliard Courcelles Airport ( LFSM ) in accordance with control tower that gave me during flight time, full proiority
I used the main taxiway for take off and landing
More details on my page : http://perso.wanadoo.fr/mes-avions-rc
If some people, somewhere in the world is fascinated by RC airliners, please contact me to get more info, and you will see that even if you are not a professionnal, you will be able to build it

Will,
If you have the photos and the time, I really wish you would write a thread on your building of the Rauch Airbus. For those of us who are familiar with the parts and plans, I know they are primitive but simple. There are problems that only an experienced builder or someone who has built one of these can handle. It would benfit lots of folks.

Will,

Awesome plane! Can you tell me who's strobe light system you used in the model? Did you have any issues with interference with the radio from the strobe system?

Thanks,
Bob

In the same time, I will update my weg pages in english language
For DocYates : I can write something, just let me know more what you would like, join me by private mail : [email protected]
Swissflyer : you are not so far from me, and a couple of times a year, I drive to Milano, so I am just driving close to your place, you are about 3 hours drive from me ( with swiss speed limitations !!! )
Sometimes, I go RC car racing in Lostallo track, so maybe could you meet sometime and talk toghether about Airliner, It is a very great adventure to build, very interrestin, and flying sensations are realy realy great
I recommand to anybody that like feeling some heavy bird on their finger that Airliners are great
Unfortunately, too less people try to build !

Dear Swissflyer

I think I should meet you in Lodrino meeting, I have been asked to come in September, and I will come if my son has not decided to come in this world at that date !
Normaly, he should born in middle of october, but if he is like his father, no time to wait, too many things to do in life
So I hope to meet you there

Allesio, I do not need anything ! I should have somebody comming with me for help
In the case he can't come, I will need somebody to help for assembly, dis assembly ...
If you want to record the video comming from the camera inside the plane, prepare a handycam with a video in, you will see your place from the air, using a 2.4 GHz transmiter in the plane, and somebody to target the plane with the aerial
Anyway, I am looking forward to meet you in Lodrino

Teebox 11, I can produce it for you, but that will cost quiet a lot of money !
Already 2 in order, 1 DC 10, that will be made as a KC 10 ( in flight refueler ) for a french guy, and 1 A330-300 for a people in Indonesia

P Richard, sales of tickets have started already !

Eddie P, thanks for your observation

I received 2 weeks ago, the drawing for building a push back from Tracma company, it will be the TMX 500 instead of TD 25 000 !
The real one is 56 000 kg weight !!!!!!

Unfortunately, only 3 airliners were present, Me, Norbert with a MD11 / Franck Turbine ( KLM ), and one other guy with an A340-300 ( Lufthansa )
I could be deliverd with the fiberglass parts for the A330-300 and the KC 10
I am now waiting for the styro parts from Manfred Koster, and the retract from HAWE
I may open a subject on RCU, anyway, those project have already their pages on my web site

Strykaas
you are right, I got a kerosen leak on the left tank in Arles meeting
I did a fast but temporary repair, in order to be able to fly on Sunday in Arles
The leak made that styro was a little destroyed by kero, and I had to make a window in the wing, to remove destroyed styro, and to replace it with polyurethan foam

It has taken me some time, but anyway, I was not registred in La Ferté, and we had the school day of our daughter, so I could not have said to my wife that I would not be present,

For Arles Meeting, I missed the dance gala of my daughter
So I had to not go too far if I do not want trouble in the house !

Where did you read that ?

Tommy, we have just talked a little about you with Norbert, by looking for how was building airliners actualy, hope your construction is going well, but for sure, pleasure you will have by flying your liner
