Default P60

Hi, I am considering a JetCat P60 and have questions. Is it started via the transmitter, using the GSU (display and programmer) or otherwise? Will someone kindly go through the start procedure for me? Thanks, Moniman

If you get the ful auto start for it you can start it from the transmitter. All you have to do is toggle the throttle up and down to get it started watch the ecu to see when the rpms are at idle and then you have it started. This is what I saw on diy.

All JetCat's are full auto start. They are started by simply moving hte throttle trim level up and then moving the throttle stick up. You can also run them from the GSU if you so choose. You can also run the engine (operate throttle parameters) and such from the GSU as well if you so choose.

cjz, this was cut and paste from a post from mr.matt, maybe john can let us know if it is officially available, but based on this post i would say it is.
JetCat is happy to announce the availability of the Kerosene Start System for all of the JetCat product line. This system is easy to install, with a Low Voltage Kerosene Igniter replacing the existing glow plug. The system utilizes the existing start ing gas valve as well.

The JetCat Kerosene Start System includes:

Low Voltage (6V!) Kerosene Igniter…no need for high voltage packs!
High Temperature connecting tubing
Festo adapter
T fitting
Voucher for ECU software upgrade (a $25 dollar value!)
New ECU plastic case if needed (a $10 dollar value!)
Full Instructions

All of this for the low introductory price of $199.95. We will need your ECU to perform the required software upgrade. You will also need at least a 2400 mah ECU pack (available as an option from JetCat)

For a limited time, any purchase of a JetCat Kerosene Start System includes a discount price for the upcoming JetCat Digital Smoke Pump….$195 (regularly $225)

John Redman will have a system at Winimac and we are bringing a supply to Fresno.

Pictures to follow!!
