Default Troubles with shipping

Has anyone experienced long delays is shipping items from Canada to the US?
I sent a transmitter to a gentle man near Dallas Texas on Dec. 11th and the gentleman still has not received it. The post office say the delay is probably due to the transmitter being a suspicious looking item due to last years events.
Anyone else experience these problems? Very frustrating!!
Thanks,
Myles

Default shipping woes

God yes!!!!!!!!!!! WE bought a f-18 from a guy in Canada and finally broke down and hired someone to drive up to the border to meet him. None and i repeat None of the shipping companies wanted anything to do with shipping the thing down to us. They all said it was more trouble than it was worth as the border guys would want to see everything in the box. Well guess what we drive up he crossed the border and we got it here with no one asking anything.

Default Arghhhhh!

The thing is, even though it's only a transmitter, I have made a deal with the gentleman for a trade on this item and I have received my parcel a few weeks ago. He has nothing!
I don't know, I just hate when things go like this cause I'm a man of my word and things like this tend to make people thing otherwise!
I'll be calling Customs to see if I can find any answers and I'll post the results just in case anyone else is in the same situation.

Hey Myles, How go's it?

For the other gentleman if he is on line I can attest to Myles" accountability. Not to worry as I have had dealings with Myles and he will not cheat you out of the TX.

Myles is a man of his word. I have done business with him before. We traded items and I got his before he got mine and I live in Mississippi. To the gentleman in Dallas, help Myles by having the post office check with customs and see where the transmitter is. Hang in there Myles!

Hi Myle

I've had similar problems with stuff from Down Under. Three and half weeks for a kit. On week for Wheels. Best bet is to send it Express post. cost a little more, but it gets there.

Default Gee, guys thanks!

Thanks for the kind words everyone!
I just feel bad that he hasn't received the transmitter yet and I know how it feels to not get something you are expecting.
I hope it doesn't take to much longer!
