Default Duct

Hi all,
I have seen these setups where the turbine sits in a tube that allows air to pass around it and feed the exhaust accumulator. Only seen them in the planes.

I do helicopters. Should I make something similar for a heli? Will it promote air flow over and around the turbine so I can make an exhaust that has a venturi effect to draw out the residual heat?

Thanks for your time.
Jack
