Take I35 to Waco, go west on 340. After you cross a large bridge over a lake take the first exit, continue on about 1/2 mile. turn right at the big signs and the field will be about 3/4 mile further down the road on the right. See you there.

Default Have fun

I wish I could come, I painted my Bobcat today and I still have to put everything back in.
If I don't make it have some fun for me.

If I get a long awaited visit from the brown truck Friday I should be able to put the finishing touches on my Bobcat on Saturday, then I will be down there bright and early Sunday morning for test flights.
Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Hey Scott. Quit taking pictures with Joey's Bobcat. Not sure why you insist on always trying to take the credit from Joey for owning that bad boy.

If the weather looks better, I am still going to get down there. Either way, we are flying at the North Dallas field next weekend.

TxMaxxMedic,
I would assume that people will start showing up at the field around 9:00 AM on Saturday AM, but there won't be much flying until the big fireball in the sky moves a little higher in the sky (field faces the East), probably around 11:00-12:00.

Mike,
He nearly got his picture taken with it again at FIJR. He thinks its real funny. I kinda did at first. Thats O.K. because it probably will be his if he wants it when Super Bandit is done. But I suspect he will end up getting a Super Bandit. He has helped me put alot of flights on her, she already needs a new set of wheels.
Sure will miss ya this weekend. I plan on flying F86. See you next weekend for sure Mike.
Let me fly your F4 so everyone will think its mine.

Scott, Kevin needs an engine install kit and an ECU to get it in the air. Too cheap to spring for overnight delivery when ordered last week.

And....NOOOOOOO on the F4 thing. You'd rip the wings off the way you fly. Trade you for a F100? Know where to find one?

BTW, the mig is glassed and jsut about ready for primer. Just have to work on elevator a rudder assemblies.

Scott,

As Mike so eloquently stated above, I need the engine install kit, a smooth stop, and my ecu in order to fly. I ordered all of this stuff over a week before I was going to need it and was told "it is in stock and will be shipped tomorrow", so I didn't bother with overnight delivery . But it turns out that my definition of "in stock" and "tomorrow" is different than some other people's.

Anyway thanks for the offer, everything should be here today but I will still need another day to finish installing and setting everything up, I don't want to rush and screw anything up. I might post some pics of it later today if I get a chance.

See you on Sunday. (with a little luck)
