Default Jets in Germany?

Hi guys,

I need to visit a beta test site for work (non-TJT stuff) so I'm heading out to Dusseldorf / Guttersloh (spelling??? ), arriving Sunday night (24th). Any jet guys in the vicinity? I'm there for a little less than a week. Might need to kill some time...

On that note, I know SJ and Avonds are in Belgium, any other kit manufacturers in the area?

Please pardon the tourist like questions, never been further east than the UK before.

Late,
Kelly

PS: Hey Robrow, I'll give you a call during my layover in London...

Werner Krantz is in Dusseldorf. He's the guy who makes the big all molded semi-kits such as the A-7, ME-262, 707 and U-2. He does not speak English.

Damn had i known this before i had ask you to bring a Futaba 1024 9ZAP over for me! This transmitter is fuc.... expensive here in europe. I know that it is much more cheaper in the states ( around 800 bucks?)

Hi Andreas,

Dam, just a little too late to get your message! I just got back the other night. You were right, lots a pigs n' cows (and a giant laser printing machine giving me a massive headache)... I couldn't get to RCU while I was there so I didn't find your reply till I returned. Too bad, there was a night I spent in Dusseldorf trying to kill time before the loooooong flight home. Tough to watch TV if all you can understand is British CNN...

With regards to the radio, I would have been more than happy to bring one over if the price was right for you. That's a pricey radio no matter where you buy it. Sorry to say I won't be back for a year or two at least. Too bad those Autobahn are great fun! I rented a Jag with GPS guide, a good left lane 200kmh car... The trip back to Dus took 1 1/2 hrs.

Where bouts do you fly?

Hi Kelly,

sorry for replying so late but everyday i wanted to answer tomorrow.........

I don't understand the meaning of bouts! Can you explain that. Does it mean planes?
If yes i have a 1:10 Scale F-22 with AMT Pegasus power
This winter i wanted to build it in 1:7,2 Scale but my friend is working now since one year on the molds and his own plane, that he is not really willing to give me my kit for the next season. But i respect that because it is a really huge plane and i can feel with him that he wants to relax after finishing his own plane.
Length: 2,64 m, Wingspan:1,88 Weight: ~24 kg

So plan B is a Phantom F4E Scale 1:7,4 with two JetCat P-120 in its belly.

I will have the kit in January and hopefully i will finish it until April. This will be a show!

24 kg of Thrust and a planned weight below 20 kg

So for every day i have just a Twin Jet :stupid:

Yeah man OK this is a foam fighter but its fun for the winter wich is pretty cold at the moment, and just having the Turbine running for warm hands is maybe not fullfillment enough

Andreas

A Jag and only 200km/h on the left side?? This is what my BMW runs in the 4th gear Theres one more to go !!!!!!!

I don't understand the meaning of bouts!

it is slang for about as in "where about do do fly......" which could also be stated more briefly as "where do you fly?" Common enough useage over here that we really don't notice it.......

Never learning out !!!!

THX

So to give then the right answer, my club is located near Düsseldorf and i am the managing director of that club.
here is the Homepage: www.mfc-buederich.de

But usually i am one of that guys that is travelling around and is flying on airshows where i am invited to. So last season i visited 23 different airshows from Belgium to Austria, most of them where just for Jets, some where mixed.

Sometimes i write some articles about planes, as i did in the last Jetpower ( F-22) I don't like ARF Planes at all!!!

Hä, hä i like this signature:

"Will fly for food....."

This describes what i am doing !!!!!!

What about this:

ARF is crap before it is airborne
