Default Merlin Kerostart

I see the latest Merlin 170 can use Kero start.

Does anyone have any info on this? How reliable is the start? Is there a Kero start 'kit' to go with it (I assume the engine is supplied as gas start)?

Any pics/vids?

Gaspar has a Kero start merlin on show 18 months ago at the Majorca jet meet. It started great. It differs for the current run of the mill stuff that jetcat and the like are producing because Gaspar atomizes the fuel with special injectors and ignites with a standard glow plug. From what ive seen of the other systems they all vapourise the fuel with some device that screws in the glow plug hole.
Artes also had a system on show but that needed somthing like 12-15 volts to get it going so it did not look to practical to me.
