Default Turbine list

Interesting list, Angelo. Some new turbine manufacturers I had not seen. The heli drive system is really something! I wonder how many turbines there are in operation worldwide at this point.

Default Turbine List

I think you can delete RAM from your list.

RAM has been out of business for several months.

There are still a lot of RAM engines (I have a RAM 1000), and they are, for now at least, being serviced by:

Happierjetflyer,

Dont involve me with your sarcastic comments.

What have I got to do with 'Happyjetflyer' ?

You registered in July 2002.

This is your first posting.

It might appear that you have been 'lying' in wait for an attack.

Don't be so sure? RAM is coming back from the dead? If not, what are you saying? Please be clear, we all want to know. You have some secret inside information?

Word from where? Under whose ownership? I am not doubting or confirming anything at all, I know nothing at all about it, and I certainly missed the boat on RAM going down the tubes last year, and paid the price for it!

Default reviving ram

Not that webspace is all that expensive. But i have been wondering why site is still functioning. Of course no current updates.... but someone has to pay for the space and domain name.

Hi All,

If RAM are making a full production comeback, then I for one will be delighted with the news as will many of their customers past and present.

Default Cynicism

I have no need for cynicism.

There is enough of that going around at the moment to keep us all warm over the Winter.

The probable reason that happyjetflyer is barking up the wrong tree, or banging the wrong drum! is that he is maybe getting a wee bit paranoid.

RAM coming back into the fray will not come as a surprise to a lot of people, but it will annoy some.

If you want to see some emails and chatroom screendumps regarding cynicism, then drop me a line some time.

I have loads.

I remember you had a problem when they closed, something about an ECU.

Did you ever get it back?

I thought that Carlos was dealing with the backlog, and everything else except warranty work?
I did. And the only reason I got it back was because Carlos Villareal jumped in his car to go over the RAM and get my ECU for me. So I owe him, bigtime.
RAM closed a day later, I seriously doubt I would ever have gotten it were it not for Carlos.
I wonder how it would affect Carlos if RAM re-opened?

happyjetflyer,

this is not what the thread is about.

kettles, pots and the color black, comes to mind.

I have friends that would like RAM back on the market. one of them has delt with jockjets @ turbotek and has got good service from him and ram in general.

What I would like to know is your name and what you do on the jet scene? come on!

Many persons are in this hobby to make a living and coments like you make are not fair to anyone.
