From: Springboro, OH,
I am looking for some good reading material for DF and Turbine plane operations. Including advanced building techniques and powerplant operations.
What are some of the articles and books that you have read that might be worth passing on to others?
What about magazines? I know of RCJI, but I find it a bit lacking and hate the fact that some of the reviews are spread across several every-other-month issues. Is there a good DF/Turbine magazine published in the states?

A good info source is "Mike's Jet Book" published by Traplet. I understaqnd edition 2 is coming out sometime soon. I have version one and it is excellent. Gives you an excellent overview of DF operations and setup.
Thomas Kamps has a book out on Turbine jet operations. I haven't read it but it appears to a good read.
There are no magazines published in the States that are dedicated to DF/turbine jets. Although RCJI is bi-monthly, it is the best jet magazine out there. The other RC mags only cover jets sporadically and don't do a very good job.
Good Luck,
Ed
