Hi all, I've had a post redirected & would like to find it. Who is the Jet Moderator & how do I contact him? - John.

Hmmm ... the mods used to be listed at the head of the forum but I don't see that right now. Anyway, there isn't just one mod - there are probably about 5 or 6 right now as new mod's came on board recntly and the older ones haven't yet moved on to greener pastures. Since there are several, you don't know which one to contact unless the mod sent you a PM to tell you about your post being moved or redirected - have you checked your PMs to be sure you didn't get one ?

Other than that - if you're just trying to find your thread, hit the "search" icon on the bottom, near the left, of any of your posts - this will show you all of the posts you made in any forum, so that you can see eher it is. The only stuff that that search won't find, is anything that got moved to the Bad Post Holding Forum.

Thanks Gordon, that would be right, destroy a man's hopes & dreams then dive into the sanctuary of anonymity - or perhaps I'm being too sensitive!

I posted a similar post in 'sports models' as the idea was to convert an IC model to turbine & was looking for a plan, maybe two posts got up their nose? - John.

Sometimes the mod's just forget to notify you about what they did - they might even be planning to PM you and tell you what they did, and then that horrible thing called a "day job" gets in the way and they forget.

Yeah, technically that counts as spamming per the RCU rules (see http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_377662/tm.htm)

Spamming, technically perhaps but practically effective. I've recieved an email from a gent in Wales who says he can help me out so case closed. I'll post some pics of the plane when we build it. - John.
