I had the one get tempermental on me then eventually fail,we traced everything very carefully from the gear and every single airline then finally up to the Robart Valve(red unit) And sure enough in my case atleast it was the valve leaking right at the actuator and one of the air adjust needles.Tried to seal the leaks with bvm oil ,and a couple other methods and nothing fixed the issue.So therefore I removed the faulty valve and also removed the other one that I had in another one of my jets .I upgraded to the BVM high flow valve in one jet & a UP3 valve in the other and have had absolutely no issues since.

Maybe I didnt perform the proper task of fixing the leak issues,maybe it was actually easier than it seemed to be, but ultimately I dont have the best of patience(reason why I dont build my own jets ) and I hit a boiling point quicker than others.I just feel better in my mind atleast going with BVM & UP units from now on,I dont wanna be chasing down leaks and risking gear up landings/damage when I can just spend an extra 15 bucks and have no worries in the end.This is just my opinion of course.If there is one big thing I have learned in this great hobby of ours ,that is not to try a few bucks on a vital link in the livelyhood of our jets.In regards to the red Robart valves Ben I gave away one of them to a guy at my field who said he would try to do something with it and I have the other one still here somewhere in my garage.Shoot me your address via email or PM and I'll send the POS to you at no charge at all LOL

Ghost rider ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Can you tell me how to take the looseness and wobble out of these Robart retracts I'm putting in the H9 Miss America .

The Pneumatic system works just fine red valve and all but the retracts have too much slop in them.............................What say ye?
