you would be better off going with a regular D/F aircraft than converting one of their kits to D/F. Alot of work compared to other kits out there. There should be several threads out there to see how the kits build and fly and of their quality and customer service.......

Ditto that! But more importantly ,if you order anything from Combat Models you'll be lucky if you see it in 3,6,9,12 months or ever! Do a search on RCU and you'll notice that they are a very shady company to deal with. Many many guys have ordered goods from them and never had them deliver .I have a buddy here locally who ordered their F-16 & F-18 kits and has not seen or heard a thing to date and that was over 3 years ago!!Shame too cause their jets were really cool

I've got one of their F-16s still in the box, and it would be virtually impossible to get it to fly DF or turbine it is almos solid foam, and it's too small.

Increadible out side the box thinking when they designed it and it gives scale like results.

You'd spend a lot less time and money on a designed for DF/turbine mode.

Rob,

Dumb question, but you do realize it is made out of FOAM right? Turbine, well you can almost forget it since the internals are not big enought to give you space to cool anything even if you where to try it. DF, well a couple of people where trying to get them for use as Electric Ducted Fan as a twin, but I have not heard of anyone actaully gettting one. I think there might be a couple out there, but you can problably count them with your fingers on one hand.
