Default Quick release canards

Guys,

Does anyone have a solution for "quick release" canards on a EuroSport? If so, any pics to show how you did it?

Would make transporting so much easier so the front of the fuse can poke between the car seats and would also save them getting dinged in the hangar!!

Rgds,
Mark

Absolutely,
The original set up was rubbish. Despite having a Citroen C8 my ES won't go in with the canards on, (unless I take the front seats out as well as the rear ones!). I bought the ali horns from Todd at Dreamworks which provided a viable solution. However, the glass rods wear where the horns grip them and after a seasons flying the system failed. After a rethink I designed a new system based on Dural rods with a flat machined in one end. This flat piece slots into a "D" shaped hole in the horn which provides automatic registration, and two 3mm Allen bolts nip up a very narrow slot in the horn. What used to take ten minutes of *!^"!*ing to get the canards fitted and registered, now takes one whole minute!
You will also see in the picture that the horns are much longer than the previous ones, which provides much better mechanical advantage and this has resulted in much finer control and got rid of a slight pitch fugoid at high speed.
A good friend of mine machined the whole lot up for me and if you were to cross his palm with silver he may knock a pair up for you.
Regards,

john
