Default EuroFighter Typhoon Question

Could someone with a turbine EF Typhoon please give me some information regarding the CoG location relitive to the leading edge of your main wings. Also could you give me the dimentions of the plane (WS, Length, cannard LE to wing LE, etc). I am scratch building a Typhoon and have run the numbers for the CoG and I get wildly different locations dependant on using the fuselage between the wings as a lifting body, using the cannard, using the cannard and the fuse, etc... Your help is greatly appreciated.

My planes specs:

WS 36"
Length 52"
AUW 8 lbs

Thanks in advance.
Regards,

Leonard

If you checkout the arf-composite.com site you can download a eurosport manual, the c of g and flight control movements are all there.
It may save you alot of time

Hey thanks guys. I've got the manual. It looks like my SWAG was correct Never thought to look at the mfg. site So they do use the fuse center, truncated to a rectangle, in the CoG calcs. As opposed to running the wing LE to a point in the center of the plane. Very good. Well If off to see if she will rotate.

Mark

Im new to all this jet stuff and very enthused by reading these threads.
Im looking to buy and set up a ARF Eurosport and was with great interest reading a number of forums that you had cotributed to before I saw you were based in Lancashire.
Im in Preston and would like to see one of these kits close up and have a chat to some one in the know.
You seem to know your stuff?

Any chance of a chat please?

07977 408 375 or email me [email protected]

Many thanks in anticipation

Martin
