Yeah, I am shooting for Saturday. I would like to get there Friday and stay the night, but I don't know if I can get off work. Looks like I will be leaving early Saturday morning and leaving in the afternoon. Still up in the air though.

I'll be coming up for sure one day at least.. need to take care of getting my waiver redone.

I work on Sunday evening. Working all night is tough if you don't get a lot of sleep the day before you go in, ie. Sunday.

I tried to get Sunday night off but it didn't work out.

Notice to all the guys that are planning to fly or spectate LA-Jets on Sunday April 2nd.
The park across the flying field has been rented out for an ethnic (Persian)holiday event
and the park and Recs is going to shut down Woodley ave.
Special permits are in place to allow pilots and Visitors to be able to get passed City Traffic officers
to the field. "If Questioned just let the officer know that you are going to the Apollo Model Field.
I am not sure if there will be access available from "Burbank Blvd" but you can use "Victory Blvd".

I just got home from dinner, I left the house at 9 pm. When I came out it was raining and I knew I was in bad shape. I drove the Twin Turbo 300zx because it was a beautiful night. I never drive it in rain. Close to 500 HP and wet ground makes just getting home a chore...

Lesson to all, if you even think it might rain, leave the high HP sports cars at home. You will be standing in the rain for hours while the tow truck driver tries to unhinge your car...



Don't worry Buck, I will be leaving in a couple of hours to pick you up. I hope the rain stops or I will have to leave the planes at home. I don't have my trailer right now.

I'm sorry Jason for missing this grate jet event this time, my excuse is not waiting for glue to get dry or, oh no!!! I have a hanger queen, none of that, my excuse came to us on Thursday morning 7:15 to be exact and not by the usual delivery truck.

Her name is Daniela E. delivered at 7:15 on Thursday morning at 7 # and 12 oz. we have a new baby girl !!!!, both Mom and daughter are in good health and doing well.

There you have it, I hope I can make it for the next jet event.
