Just got my new A10! The Mibo A10 now with full compsote wings etc. AMAZING detail and composite work. I have never seen such great glass work. The packaging matched the detail o fthe plane. 3 beautiful light crates with goodies stuffed everywhere. It all arrived in great shape. WIll try to post some pics soon!

YEs I got the pilot and the cokpit. Both are the most detailed I have ever seen. The cockpit has a working yoke and ligths with AA batteries. Looks great, I will need a Detail in Scale book to figure out the arrangement of everything within the cockpit.

I ordered everything with the plane and as far as I can tell I have just about everything, a few more things will be coming as I understand. But the gear, doors and all of that stuff is included. The new wing is outstanding. I can't wait to get to work once I have my F18F flying.

Hope to get some pics up this weekend.
I may use two jetcat 120s (jetcatusa.com). I will probably build the plane, assess the weight and balance and then go from there...I have had discussions with others that range from Jetcat p80 up to Titans!
Gabriele, the jetcat website has info on costs/thrust etc.

p120 - 3.1 lbs, 28 lbs thrust, 12 oz/min at full power, cost $3,195
p80 - 2.9 lbs, 20 lbs thrust, 9 oz/min, cost $2,495.
I am not sure which I will use. Probably one of these.
I am going to be trying out my new Titan in my F18...might like that too!

Hi guys, I just finished mine. The 120 in a great choice. I would not go any bigger as you just don't need it. Take off is 3/4 power, flying aroung at a scale speed is just under half ( without full flaps). There is plenty there for those high cuban eight, and not a problem on landing either with static thrust. 1 pound to 1.5 extra lead in the nose. She lands in as little at 300' . Rotates is 450'. By far the best fly'n plane I personally have ever flew. This plane is awesome in the air and on the ground. DDennison feel free to call me if you have any questions. Welcome to the hog family. Your plane looks amazing. I can't wait to get this together.
Did you have enough information from the "instructions"? I would be interested in any parts that you found tricky or requiring modification or reinforcement.
I have about a million questions right now, just looking everything over.
I will keep that in mind as I get started!

Intructions? Being the first of the third didn't have any perks! No just kidding. I didn't get any instructions. Be that as it may most of the parts were pretty self explainatory. Some of the pics on mibo site were helpful and of corse there is always Roger for help. I can tell you that my phone bill for the past 8 months has more than doubled due to the many late night calls to Mibo.
Well anyway, good luck and don't hesitate to call. If you like fly'n scale you'll love this hog. The only bad part of this deal is that it will be hard to top.

No they don't function. Unless you want them for scale effects, the plane doesn't need them to slow down. It is amazing how slow you can land this plane. Almost as slow as a Bobcat in crow. Amazing

My Feedback: (40)
The inboard slats were not used on the full scale for takeoff or landing. Their function was to extend at high AOA and keep the air over the wing in front of the engine from separating and causing compressor stalls. We hated them because they caused significant drag just when you didn't need it.

Did you just glue them to the wing?
Going to lay out all the parts today and start putting some instructions together.
Billy, did you use ppg? A standard color? Mix your own? It look slike this plane only needs a little 400 and slight fill at a few seems. I am thinking Prima over the filler spots and then base coat/clear (2060). I used it for my hornet and really like it except for cost.
I have gotten a real kick out of the pilot/cockpit too. It has so much detail.
Could I talk you into taking all sorts of pics of your plane inside and out as a reference? DO you fly as far as the Midwest at all during the Summer?
HOpe to really big in the Hog pen soon.

Hi, I'm somewhat new to this forum and to RC Planes.
I just wanted to pop in and say its very refreshing to find people who appreciate the Hog as much as I do. In my opinion, best plane in it's class. I hope to catch up to you all soon in flying skills so I can get myself an A-10 as well, Vermont needs one or two. Maybe I can get one soon, I took my first plane out last week by myself for the first time and flew flawlessly! No instructor and only about 1 hr of virtual flight time prior to flight!
If the Hogs continue to grow, we should make a RC Hog Team
