Dave , If your after 1/6 scale its no contest- http://www.blueboxtoys.com/bbi/f_bbi.html

Elite Force aviator 1/6 scale series covers jets and WW2.
For other sizes/scales its pretty bleak. Mostly just your average paintable bust style pilot.

Marty you are the 'Oracle' when it comes to r/c arcraft. Spoke to the wife, and may have to visit Toronto again around June. I even told her I wanted to go to a jet meet. She agreed ! Yahoo!!!

have you seen the mick reeves site? under jets, accessories. full bodied pilots, 1/6 scale, they look like Dragon manufactured, similar to action man, fully clothed, not laytex.

Surely you are not dissing the mighty George Dubya.
Bring back Clinton, at least he knew how to have a good time in the white house.

I'm not dissin' Dubya...I was an Air Force crew chief on F-102's when Dubya was flying them. Never met him, though.

Marty...I think you've got it...

Dave I don't have a talking Dubya, but if I did I would be proud to have him sit in the cockpit of my jet

I thought the Steve Irwin for the Kangaroo was funny as $h!t too.

I dunnow but If I saw Steve Irwin piloting a jet, I'd have a real hard time avoiding a mid-air with it and my $10 combat plane...

Default 1/4 scale pilot

Ray- I don't think there is any 1/4 jet jocks manufactured at present, I guess the demand would be pretty low?
I think there are a few custom pilot makers eg 'Pilots by Dianne' that could customize a regular 1/4 scale sport pilot. I am not sure about this though just speculating. Sorry I cant offer a url, but an 'Advanced Search' here on RCU for 'Pilots by Dianne' is a good start...

I just have got to ask Ray, what is the jet model you have in mind for such a big guy...any pics?

Cheers-

'Petes Pilots' in the UK is the leading supplier of specalised Pilots.

From 1/12 scale to 1/2 scale all types are catered for. Including 1/4 scale Jet Pilots.

I use only Petes pilots for my models (including the 1/4 scale Gloster E28/39 'Whittle' in the JWM '01.)

He does not have a website but his phone number is:

+44 (0) 1785256894.

If anyone needs any help getting in contact then just let me know!

Don't think Pete's advert does his work justice. The pilots in the advert in 'Model World' look a bit ropey. However I have only ever heard good things, and when I spoke to him on the phone he was an absolute gent. He couldn't have been more helpful.

Default 1/4

Hey Ray, I have a 1/4 scale bust pilot, he's a sport jet pilot without a face mask but I'm sure we could fix him up with a little makeup . been trying to get the pics together for the website, but i just cant seem to steel the time from any of the other projects. I can put up a PIC of him tonight when i get home if your interested.

Ray- Try this one as well! Composite Scale Models, they are an Australian company and suggest that they do 1/4 scale custom full body jet pilots. The AUS vs US exchange rate will be good for you as well. Go to pilots page on- http://www.compositescalemodels.com.au

For you UK guys! can you help me with this pilot? and his origin, I know he is about 1/5 scale and comes from England but who made him and where??? He came with a model I bought second hand in about 98' I would like to get another little guy the same, as he is my favorite....any help appreciated

Cheers-

Default Good Show...

... not my thread but very good show by everyone, I personally say thanks.

Ronnie, please do send some picures of the one that you have, still have a second 1/4 scale jet that you are aware of that needs a pair of pilots too.

Marty, those pilots from Composite Scale Models dont look too bad. I will be sending them an email to see what they can produce in the way of a US Air Force Jet Pilot.

Steve, if you happen to have any electronic pics of Pete's pilots, I would love to see them, email to [email protected]. Thanks for his number, I will give a call after the holidays are up.

Gents thanks again those here and those that email.

Default 1/4 1/5

Hi Ray, I cant find the PIC of the 1/4 scale pilot, i will try to remember to bring the camera home from the office and take another one, or the PIC maybe on one of the computers there.
Heres a PIC of the 1/5 scale pilot for that project that needs 2 in it. They fit the seats perfectly.
